Shoemaking runs through our veins. Our father and grandfather were both shoemakers who mastered their craft from a small workshop in post-war Poland. Five decades later the women in the family took over the business and sparked a revolution, producing women's shoes inspired by a men's world.
Our commitment to traditional craftsmanship has remained steadfast through the decades, bringing the noble art of custom shoemaking into the modern age. Our cooperatives located in Eastern Europe, grow with us sharing our dedication to quality hand-made shoes. 80% of our artisans are women who come from rural areas where jobs are often scarce. Our goal is to empower them with economic opportunities, fair wages and free apprenticeships.
Here, you won’t find mass-production and backbreaking efficiency targets. Our process is about heritage, sustainability and passion for quality. It’s about people who live and breathe the art of shoemaking, for whom each pair of shoes is as unique as the woman who eventually slips them on.
